Downsizing

There are many reasons to make a downsize. It is still hard. I like the place I live now, but it is time.

Even though I am downsizing I still have requirements. I must have my own bathroom. I will not share with boys. And I need good garden space.

I do still have a few more month on my current lease. So it does gives me time to look for the right place. So far there has not been much out there. But with February around the corner I am expecting to see new listing soon. And it also give me time to get rid of things that will not make the move. I have way more stuff than I need in my current home. So I need to lighten the load.

I have started to go though things, like my homeschool books.(If you know anyone looking for Sonlight cores. I have second grade thru fifth grade for sale) I have also had one yard sale and I am getting a good collection of things for donation. So at the very least I should end up with less clutter.

Hammer vs. Hand

Only one post this week and it's going to be short and sweet. Last Saturday when I was out making garden boxes. I managed to hit my hand with a hammer. I did stop working and put ice on it and took some Advil. I did all the things that you would think to do for a hammered hand. But by Tuesday I was still having eye crossing pain, so I call the nurse to see what they recommend I do. She said I need to come and be seen. Off to the doctor I went. I didn't think that I had broke anything but I was wrong. I have a Scaphoid Fracture of the Wrist.
