Catching up

As I continue my house hunt it looks more and more like we will be staying put. So I am adding more garden beds.
Beside adding more beds I am planning out my fall garden. With all the new beds I have over doubled my growing space. And I will have deitacated space just for the farmers market. So this month will be very busy getting my fall crops in. Now fall crops in Austin
means, a short warm crop planting. I will get some cold crops in but not for a few month still.

I have a few more weekend of peach sales. Then a trip to see all the family. Before school starts back up and I head back to the library.

I recently pasted the one year mark of being a vegan and it has defentlly been for the better. Not only have I stayed off the medicaton for my stomach. I think that it has helping my skin problem and my glucose has gone back to normal.
Being the only vegan in the house can sometime be interesting. When your trying to decide on meals that everyone will eat. But I have found many meals that I can make that just have the meat or dairy on the side.
I have also saved money because I can just bypass big parts of the groceries stores. Plus I grow things that I like to eat and I can swap extras at the farmer market for other veggies that I don't grow.

So there is a little catching up.

What is your Dream Planner?

I can never find a planner that works for me. I have a day job, two business and kids. I am also one of those people that needs to write everything down or I end up missing something. For years I have taken part of different planners that I like to make them my own. Now I have decide to take this one step further. I am make all of pages and I am looking to make a planner for small business owners. I have put together a quick 6 question survey, to help me know what other business owners are looking for. No name or email needed to take the survey. Thank You in Advance! Click the link to start! https://chantel7021923.typeform.com/to/WQDeX7Me
I feel so behind in getting a blog post up. Life has been keeping very busy but all in good way. Now I recently got myself an ipad to replace my laptop that had died. So I have been trying to figure out the best way to write on the ipad. I think I found the best way for now. With less than a month before my half marathon and trying to train in the Texas heat is a challenge. But getting out early and lots of water make it manageable. I am swimming on my cross train day and sometime on run days too. (I am already at the pool six days a week and it gives me something to do vs standing around for an hour.)  The garden is coming a long. I have twenty beds in area 66' x 7'. So I have a lot  of plants in the ground and still have some beds that I have not planted yet. But this Texas and I do have a long growing season. So they will end up with plants in them. My biggest concern with the garden right now is water. We are under tight  water restrictions . When the rules were made th...
